Dirt Devil handheld vacuum = junk.
I dropped one of my expensive pills on the floor and ran it over with my wheelchair while I was looking for it. I didn't want the dogs to lick it up so grabbed the Dirt Devil cordless vacuum. That fucker was stone dead. It won't hold a charge anymore and it's only a couple months old. Will never buy another, that's for goddamn sure.

So sick today.
Don't know if I'm going to pull through this time.
On a lighter note, football is somewhat tolerable with the volume muted. Sure glad she decided to watch it that way.

McAfee LiveSafe
Well, McAfee LiveSafe, you are a piece of shit. I didn't ask for you to intrude on my computer and, like all other programs, if I have to tell you more than one time that I don't want to give you money, then you're gone. And now you're gone.

SNOW!
Just sitting here with my feet up by the stove watching the traffic go by in the snow. It started snowing about 30 minutes ago.
Blizzard coming.
I suppose today would be a good time to see if the snowblower still runs. HA! But first, get rid of this fucking migraine.

Started right up.
This morning the ATV started right up. So I guess I probably won't buy a new battery for it just yet. Part of the problem is it doesn't get used so much anymore, what with the false science of oak wilt and all the deer hunting seasons I really only get to cut in the worst three months of the year, December, January, and February. Now, a little break for lunch.

The morning at work......
...four wheeler wouldn't start, had to put the charger on it, batteries went dead in the camera, batteries went dead in the scanner, saw ran out of gas with only two cuts left, stick hit me in the face and gave me a fat lip, but other than that.... HAHA! Now, a quick lunch break, then sharpen the chain, refill my gas and bar oil bottles, and lookup new ATV batteries.

Canadian Pacific Holiday Train, Wisconsin Dells.
But first, we had to wait for a late Amtrak to get out of the way. The Xmas Train was nearly an hour delayed.
And finally! The Xmas Train!

A grueling day at work.....
...but everything that needed to be done is done. It would be a lot easier if my brother Mark was helping me.
Chimney Day!
Today is chimney cleaning day and stack the next month's supply of firewood on the porch. I had some trouble last night with the draft on the stove sticking open, so first order of business is to try to figure out what crawled up its ass.

Wet gloves and cold fingers...
..at work today! The hard part's over. Big load up to the house. Just warming up and drying out a bit before I unload it. I sat down on a log to catch my breath earlier. The log collapsed and I went over backwards, head first, upside down, into a brush pile. My legs were sticking up in the air and I couldn't move, the brush, log, and awkward position had me pinned. Somehow, after many minutes of struggling, I managed to break free. HAHA! That's a job hazard I rarely ever think about.....
Laundry, waiting, waiting.......
.....and then I can finally go to work. I guess I'll have to look around for my snow boots while I'm doing laundry. It seems like it's been so long since I've seen them.

Our first measurable snowstorm...
...is in progress! It's late, but it's finally happening. I'm sure it won't be much though, probably a few inches. I've got about a load of wood cut and laying on the ground at the office, waiting to be split and hauled up, but I probably won't have time to go to work on it today between shuttling Fraidykaren back and forth to town. Then in the next few days it will be time to clean the chimney again and pile the next month's heating fuel on the porch. If I lose any of the smaller pieces of wood under the snow that I haven't picked up yet, I'll look again in Spring.

My forester said this and my forester said that.
The forester has probably never cut a block of firewood in his life. He has no idea of the struggle to cut firewood in the middle of winter. Looking at it through the window of the forestry office is way different than actually being out here.

Done for the Day
I had planned on quitting work early today because I still don't feel very good. I split about a load, but I hate to go back to the house with an empty trailer. So I loaded it up. And once it's hauled up it has to be unloaded. I didn't get done quite as early as I was shooting for. HAHA! Oh well.
Laundry Boy
Darren was standing in front of the washing machine with no shirt on, trying to reach the knob to start it up. He said he shirt was wet and he had to wash it. HA!

SNOW!
Some pretty heavy snow squalls on the way back from taking Darren home tonight. A couple times it was near whiteout. The road was covered by the old wooden bridge.
Cut 2 Loads - Ran Out of Energy
Just weak and dizzy today. More so than usual. HAHA! Time to sharpen the saw. By that time Darren will be here. I'll finish the tree I started tomorrow or the next day.
