Opening Weekend of the Traditional Gun Deer Season

Gathering thoughts after a very close encounter with the monster buck, and it really was a monster buck!

    No thanks. We have the occasional rumor of a wolf passing through over here (if I saw one, there'd be one less), but we've got plenty of coyotes. The coyotes pretty much keep to themselves though. They sound kind of cool, howling almost every night.
