News From The Observatory - A 2 Million Year Old Picture

This is the Andromeda Galaxy. The light for this picture took over 2 million years to arrive at my camera last night! Amazing to think about. Here is a brightened version and the normal version.

I got a special request last night to cut a load of dead pine, so I did that this morning. Here it is from start to finish.

And when I got done with the load of pine, I worked on a little project for the good neighbor.

And then this afternoon I went fishing!
