4th heat-related death confirmed

MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Wisconsin health officials have confirmed
another heat-related death.
The Sauk County coroner says an 87-year-old City of Reedsburg
woman was found dead in her trailer last week. The trailer
apparently did not have air conditioning.
It’s the fourth confirmed heat-related death in Wisconsin that
happened during last week’s heat wave.
The others are an 80-year-old Illinois man who died from
heat-related causes while staying at his second home in Marquette
County; a 65-year-old Columbia County man; and an 82-year-old
Prairie du Chien woman.

Cave of the Mounds

At the fair!

YES! Normally I would wait until it got a little bigger, but this was the first one of the season and I couldn't help myself. It was DELICIOUS!

The job is done and the old truck is back in service. It was a little cooler, but the humidity was..........those of you that have actually done any work in summertime humidity know what I'm talking about!

And here is where I had to dig the dirty old water pump out of last night. Second time actually, in this truck.

Here the dirty thing is! Now just waiting for NAPA to open the phone lines and see how lucky I am. It's kind of an old dinosaur, so might strike-out!
