Yep, I cut a little wood again today. Turkey season is over for the most part, so I resumed cutting up some of the trees that have tipped over recently. I never cut the standing dead trees (and never, ever live ones). Since there's so much good firewood already on the ground, I let the woodpeckers and other critters have the standing ones until they tip over. The tree in this picture was right by my good neighbor's cabin, so I processed this one for his little woodpile.
