The website now includes in the Forum minutes of the Board of Directors and Membership Meetings. Also, the web server revision has eliminated those non-atving registrations/users, which is blessing from an administration point. Many emails addresses on file with the CRFAC have been found to be in error or not accepted by Internet providers. You can update your email address simply by sending an email to club@crfatvc.com with the subject: Email Address Change, please include your name and address in the body of the email.

Committees (Repeated)
As you can see by the names listed below, a number of members are pulling double duty. The committees are open to any member who holds an interest in one of the club’s committees. If you are-interested in helping out on a committee or an event, please contact Doug Lindner at (608) 847-3784 or email dlindner79@verizon.net.

Routes
The Town of Germantown has authorized ATV routes north of Buckhorn “G”, but as of this writing the Town has not signed the routes. The approved routes connect with existing Town of Necedah routes. Club members and interested parties of both Clearfield and Germantown are encouraged to continue to voice their support for ATV routes. It takes local residents and property owners to contact their town board representatives for things to get or keep moving forward.

Maps (ATV Routes)
The 2008 maps (revised format) were very successful with users and local business places. Stop, visit, and thank our map advertisers for supporting our club. The 2009 map should be available in late December, which will contain route additions and revisions that are very few. Remember, stay (ride) on approved routes and ride safe. Cost for a map is $1.

2009 Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the CRFAC will be held on Feb 28, 2009 at the Vets Hall in Necedah at 12pm. The election of 2 expiring Board Member terms will take place at the meeting. Jim Fank and Randy Dohnke terms expire at the annual meeting. An agenda will be posted on the Web Site and emailed to those member emails’ is on file with the CRFAC in January 2009.

2009 Winter Poker Run
The CRFAC Winter Poker Run is scheduled for January 24, 2009 with an “ICE” date of February 14, 2009 at Shipwreck on Castle Rock Lake. Poker Run participates will be able to pick up the card/sheet at any of the eight (8) participating business. The $10.00 per person fee will be payable/collected prior to you drawing your poker hand at Shipwreck. You may register, pick up your card/sheet, and pay at Shipwreck only starting at 10:00am. Again, this year will be a 50/50 pay out and have 5 of the 8 participating businesses marked to qualify for drawing a poker hand at Shipwreck. More details to be forthcoming. Mark you calendars!!!!!!!!

2009 CRFAC Events
The Events Committee is finalizing the event activities and schedule now. If you have any suggestions or events that you would like to see on the schedule, please email those to clubevents@crfatvc.com or club@crfatvc.com

Club Membership
Club membership currently stands at ninety-two (92) paid members. There are a number of new members/partners who have joined the club this year. What this means is a number of our past members have not renewed their membership. The CRFAC recognizes that you have a number of organizations that you support with your hard earned dollars. It was evident in our club and individual labor/activities to get approved routes in Germantown that numbers have an impact on decision makers. If you have not renewed your CRFAC membership please do so. In addition, if you have neighbor or friend that you know has not renewed or not a member of the club encourage them to renew or join.

Next Membership Meeting
Club Xmas and Holiday Party on December 6, 2008 at 12:00pm at Vets Hall in Necedah. Please bring a dish to pass. Club will provide meat, etc. similar to previous years. We may ride/participate in the Mauston Holiday Parade at 5pm. Check the Web site for updates.
