News From The Observatory:

It was 2°F this morning. Got another inch and a half of snow yesterday. There's about 2 or 3 on the ground altogether now. Enough to make it white, and that's enough for me! After New Year's Day it can go away. I don't mind the cold weather. If you heat your home with wood, and cut your own wood, this is the weather that makes it all worthwhile. It really pays off.

It's rare that Mrs. Reverend leaves the warmth of the woodstove in the Winter, but she did the other day. She wandered around the woods taking pictures while I split some firewood. The way she's dressed, you'd think it was cold, but it wasn't really!

A little white stuff in the woods now.
