My Polaris dealer just called me concerning the recall on my Hawkeye. He said they still don't have the parts from Polaris and he wanted to keep me updated. Actually, I was supposed to call him this week or last, so it was a nice surprise that he called me instead. I appreciate the extra service. I told him that I am in no hurry and my machine has not had any problems, give me a call whenever the parts are in and we'll set something up.

Out of almost 10,000 Hawkeyes affected, they only had 32 failures, three of which caused accidents and no injuries. So, with those odds, I will probably never have to worry about it anyway. Right? Ha ha! With my luck I'm surprised it hasn't crashed and burned already!
