THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PARTS OF NORTHEAST IOWA...
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA...AND SOUTHWEST INTO CENTRAL WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

FALLING TEMPERATURES...ACCUMULATING SNOW...BLOWING SNOW...AND STRONG
WINDS WILL ACCOMPANY A POWERFUL ARCTIC COLD FRONT WHICH WILL SURGE
ACROSS THE TRI-STATE REGION BEGINNING EARLY TUESDAY MORNING IN THE
INTERSTATE 35 CORRIDOR...INTO CENTRAL WISCONSIN BY EARLY AFTERNOON.

IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT...TEMPERATURES WILL PLUMMET FROM THE UPPER
20S AND 30S INTO THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE AND BELOW ZERO BY TUESDAY
EVENING...AND WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS PAST
40 MPH. THIS WILL CAUSE WIND CHILLS TO FALL INTO THE 20S AND 30S
BELOW ZERO FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON...INTO TUESDAY NIGHT.

A BRIEF PERIOD OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW IS POSSIBLE IN THE WAKE OF
THE FRONT TUESDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON...WITH ACCUMULATION
POTENTIAL OF 2 TO 6 INCHES. COMBINED WITH THE STRONG WINDS...
BLOWING SNOW AND LOW VISIBILITIES APPEAR LIKELY...WITH THE POTENTIAL
FOR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS IN THE MOST WIND PRONE AREAS.

THE COMBINATION OF THESE WINTER WEATHER ELEMENTS ADDS UP TO A
POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS WINTER WEATHER SITUATION FOR ALL AREAS
BEGINNING TUESDAY MORNING AND CONTINUING INTO THE EVENING. PERSONS
LEAVING THE HOUSE IN THE MORNING...WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE 30S...
MAY NOT BE PREPARED FOR THE SIGNIFICANT COLD THAT WILL BE SEEN AS
THEY HEAD HOME. A WINTER STORM WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED TO HIGHLIGHT
THE POTENTIAL FOR DANGEROUS CONDITIONS. IT IS EXPECTED THAT WARNING
AND ADVISORIES WILL BE ISSUED AS THE DETAILS BECOME MORE CLEAR.

YET ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM MAY BRING SOME SNOW TO THE AREA WEDNESDAY
NIGHT INTO FRIDAY. HOWEVER...MUCH UNCERTAINTY REMAINS WITH THE
STRENGTH AND TRACK OF THIS SYSTEM FOR LATER IN THE WEEK.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

REPORTS OF WIND GUSTS...BLOWING SNOW...AND SNOW AMOUNTS WOULD BE
MOST APPRECIATED TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT.

.EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATION...

NO CALL IS SCHEDULED.
